A Sisterhood Retreat For Your Inner Child

Join a small group of female-identified humans as we take a weekend to explore the messaging we received as children around the notion of “sisterhood” and reshape and strengthen our connection to “Sisterhood” as we move into our adult relationships with other women.
This weekend experience embraces nostalgia and self-discovery. We will gather at a magical home in the mountains of Idyllwild for playful activities, creative workshops, and heartfelt conversations that are sure to help you reconnect with the joy and innocence of your inner child.
This retreat aims to foster a sense of sisterhood and provide a space for personal growth, reflection, and the celebration of whimsy in a supportive environment.
Weekend Whims
Friday, April 19th
You are invited to arrive at the retreat location any time after 5:00pm on Friday. We will have some light soup, appetizers, and tea for an informal dinner, as you get settled and meet the other women at the retreat.
Around 8:00pm we will formally open the retreat weekend with an intention-setting circle. We will also begin adorning our ceremonial altar at this time. Participants are invited to bring anything they’d like to add to our collective Sisterhood altar.
After the opening circle, attendees are free to continue giggly conversations and/or retire for the evening.
Saturday, April 20th
Wake up Saturday morning and enjoy a home-cooked breakfast on the patio. We will have offerings of guided movement, creativity, and music in the morning, followed by a delicious and nourishing lunch.
After lunch, you are invited into your own self-guided process of introspection and/or connection with others. Perhaps your whimsical side would like to play with the art supplies or instruments. Maybe you’ll be drawn to deeper bonding time with one or more of your new sisters, or would feel most nourished with some journaling or rest.
We will gather at the altar at 6:00pm on Saturday to move into an experience of deep meditation and healing with our mycelial allies. The ceremony will be guided with live music by Misty Tomasino (aka Mystic Rhythms) and Ladybug Larsen.
There will be soup and breads offered after ceremony closes, to support your grounding and prepare you for sweet and integrative dreams.
Sunday, April 21st
On Sunday morning, we will enjoy another hot, freshly-prepared breakfast before moving into a sharing circle to begin the integration process with our sisters.
After the sharing circle, we will pack our things, give thanks to the house and land for holding us and keeping us safe, and head out on an integrative hike where we will allow Mother Nature to hold us as we deepen our sisterhood bonds.
The retreat will formally conclude by 4:00pm with a closing circle.
All sisters are encouraged to bring an offering to share in co-creation of this beautiful retreat space. During your alignment call, you will be supported in contemplating what that offering might be—perhaps a skill or service, a handmade or thoughtful gift, or a song to offer at the end of Saturday’s ceremony.

Meet Ladybug “Bug” Larsen
Ladybug (she/they) is a ceremonialist and shadow integration specialist. Bug’s backgrounds in human development, counseling, and social work have primed her for the work she has been doing in the psychedelic and inner healing spaces since 2019.
As someone who has been through multiple rites of passage with her own shadow integration, Ladybug feels passionate and equipped to walk with others through their darkness to a place of acceptance and love.
Bug supports others through psychedelic consultation/education, ceremony facilitation, and 1:1 ongoing shadow integration sessions. Their primary modalities for the latter include the somatic approach, inner child connection, and parts work (Internal Family Systems & Voice Dialogue).
Meet Misty “Mystic Rhythms” Tomasino
Born and raised in San Diego, Misty Tomasino aka Mystic Rhythms, is a multi-dimensional singer, musician percussionist, facilitator, and sound healer for transformational experiences.
Misty has been playing music professionally since her early 20’s and has been in apprenticeship with ceremonial medicine work since her early 30’s. She spent seven years in Costa Rica as a member of the Sat Yoga Ashram & Ecovillage, and is now back in her hometown sharing her gifts and integrating them into a unique path guided by the rhythm of her heart.
Misty is a versatile musician who dedicates her musical talent as an offering to the Divine, the Earth, the Human Heart, and beyond. With a heartfelt intention, Misty strives to create environments for deep healing, inner freedom, peace, and joy.
Music serves as both the expression of her soul and her medicine, she weaves a tapestry of sound that induces a mystical and heart-opening experience.
You’ll most likely find her transformative gifts being shared at festivals, retreats, yoga studios, private events, plant medicine ceremonies, and one-on-one lessons.
